The 2001 Wreath Laying Ceremony was officiated by The Most Reverend Archbishop John F. Donoghue.

Dignitaries participating included: Irish Cabinet Minister Eamon O Cuiv and his wife, Aine; Deputy Consul General Adrian McDaid; Monsignor E.J. Dillon of Holy Spirit.

Also in attendance were the MAPES (Metropolitan Atlanta Police Emerald Society) Color Guard and a FESMA (Fire Emerald Society of Metro Atlanta) contingent with an honorary Fire Unit.

Officers and members of the Hibernian Benevolent Society were, as always, in attendance.

The 2001 Memorial took place at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 10, 2001.
